| Morgan and Sandercock had/have completely different remits. Morgan succeeded in his; time will tell whether Sandercock does in his. Mixed bag so far, but giving him the benefit of the doubt, this year could be seen as bottoming out - or not, depending on next year.
We came a long way on passion and camaradarie (and some ambitious recruitment), but the club was looking for a more precise, professional and technical approach. If it works, Sandercock's demeanour won't matter, if it doesn't, no amount of joviality or fist clenching and shouting will make a difference.

| The heat is on and it still would have been even if we had beaten the Bulls!
But destiny is still in Rovers hands, albeit there is no longer any room for error.
And the task has been made tougher by Wakey's shock win over Saints, which has elevated them as Rovers main threat with winnable games against us, Widnes and Salford remaining. This contrasts with the Bulls who have the toughest run-in against the Giants, FC and Catalans.
But Rovers will have Blake, Rhys, Mika and Joel back for the Wakey game, but more importantly Dobbo is in good form. The ball is in Rovers court, so lets see how CS and the squad face up to the challenge.

| Quote: Hessle rover "Morgan did play boring rugby sometimes, but what would you take, Morgans boring but effective winning rugby, or Sandercocks more unpradictable losing rugby. Morgan had passion which Sandercock has none. An all important ingrediant to winning games in my opinion.'"
the one thing morgan seemed to get us up for was the derby apart from that you say winning rugby but do you remember last season we were in a worse position than we are now and just scraped in the play offs with a good run and a castleford collapse and he probably had a better team

| Rovers are done for this year, we won't take another point. 8th is between Wakie and the Bulls. Looking at their run ins (and current form) I expect Wakie to sneak an unlikely 8th and with it, probably face the same play off trip as we did last year. Scant reward for a splendid sprint down the home straight.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |

| Looking at the form as a wakey fan I should be confident that we can take points from you guys.
That said, this will be a tough hard fought game and is very important for both teams. In reality a tough one to call.
I'm not sure what's happened at Wakefield but these past 4 weeks have seen the team click very strongly. You can see there is improvement still yet.
Should be a cracking game and should be on sky. To make the playoffs would be a cracking effort.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| The way we're playing at the moment, we don't deserve a play-off place and still way too much reliance on Dobbo for my liking.
That said, things can change a lot in a week. Players coming back from injury will definately lift the mood. A few bad decisions (by the team, not the ref) cost us on Friday, such as kicking a penalty in the opening minutes of the game instead of taking a tap. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but that early in the game, it didn't seem to be the most positive decision.

should be on sky but isnt there a massive game on in london with wire going for top spot and london avoiding the wooden spoon they might even crash through the 2000 fans barrier

| Do we know who was put on report from the KR v Bulls games as a few were. Also there's probably some injuries within both bulls and KR camp from friday's game. We will have Collis back on for Sunday as well who's prooving to be a danger to defences. Would say if we play anything like we have for last 4 weeks we will win this one comfortably as our forwards will match yours but our backs will be the key difference.

And Fox who's proving a danger to our own.

| Quote: fcimp "Don't think people are being fair to him, let's face facts if it wasn't for all the bad decisions he has publicly stated has gone against you this season, you would be challenging the top 2.
All ifs and buts though isn't it, if you had another nine brain cells you'd be in double figures, but lifes tough at times.
We've narrowly lost several games that last year under Morgan the coresponding fixtures were hammerings. I think we're heading in the right direction, it was never going to happen over night, it isn't just a change in the first team, it's a change in the whole culture of the club, with a shift to home grown players, and an end to throwing big contracts at average players. Morgan will always be part of our history, getting us to Super League as he did, but we needed the shake up Sandercock has brought to the club, and hopefully with a team he has had more input in choosing will be better equiped to play the way he wants them to.
