With regards to Ben leaving, it is a very sad moment but all things come to an end and his recent injuries and age are obvious factors in this descision.
Personaly, i just wish that the club could have perhaps considered him for a coaching position within the club, i believe his fine rugby brain and the respect he commands from other players within the squad could benifit the club in the future years.

Galea has made it clear that he intends to carry on playing, so why would he want a coaching position?

I think if we calculated a crapness to salary ratio, Clinton would win, although Desi would push him very close.

Without knowing salaries, we could argue the following have been less value than Clinton in the SL era:

Jim Gannon
Garrett Crossman
Mike Ratu

Why wouldn't he? just because he said he would prefer playing doesn't mean he would turn down a coaching position within the club, especialy if it guranteed him a longer period at the same club as opposed to perhaps just one more year somewhere else as a player, he's already said that he will be very sad to leave Hull Kr, just my personal opinion of course.

Certainly not, you got rid of tansey which was good to go forward, yet uve now got westerman,watts and mcgoldrick- good luck keeping them wasters on the straight and narrow.

If i was in charge of hull and actually wanted them to do well id of offered lovegrove a deal quite some time ago, id of scouted around for a good halfback but an experienced FB would be essential.
