| Wigan already do this. Wouldn't want to be seen as following us in EVERY respect, surely?!

Wigan fans claim to do everything although all we see/hear is a limp wristed gesture and a camp "Wigan, Wigan.." which you have copied from us because we did that first.

Not really, we expect people to have the mental capacity to realise it is directed at you. Sadly something you are obviously lacking

| Don't know if any of you watched Liverpool v Sunderland but Liverpool fans have already started using it as Luis Suarez's official song.
Agreed it sounds good when sung by the masses.

| It's the new Torres/Animals Two By Two chant - most clubs (whatever their sport) will in some way shape or form adapt it as their own.
IMO - knowing it's come from the wretched beings that is the 'Green Brigade' - I'd much rather stay away from it personally.
Sounded a bit s**t from Norwich at weekend n all.

If you believe that 8600 sing that it "kind of shows" your overactive imagination.

| Firstly any RL team claiming this to be "theirs" and that anyone else doing it is "stealing" it from them is hypocritical to the highest order. You have stolen the song from another sport and adapted it. There are very few songs currently sung by any team in RL that were not originally from another sport and sung by other clubs.
In fact even club anthems are "stolen" if this logic is followed!
We all Hate Hull is a shocking chant from our set, I know what they mean but doing it after we score a try instead of singing about our club, our team and our heartland is just wrong. The worst thing about the East Stand since we have gone in to the Super League is that the singers have been diluted and we get half hearted songs being half sang and the only songs that get a good airing are the anti-Hull FC songs even when we are not playing them.
Speaking to many new East standers they always mention how good the atmosphere is but in truth it was better with 1200 of us stood in an unextended one but then they won't remember those days and most of them are actually to blame for the decline in our loudest fans in SL tag. I hope the new North stand is big and shiney so they all beggar off in there and we get the old crew back!

First year in SL was probably the best for noise created, was deafening on some of the night matches. But I agree it has gone rather flat over the last season or so, I think it is more to do with the fact that there is a bit of an expectation for us to win that was never there before. This has brought about a bit of complacency. I don;t hold onto the bit about 'new fans' diluting the singing. The singers still all stand together, its not as if its reserved seating. If we got on a run of winning, the singin would return.

Numerous singers have moved to the Well due to being pushed out of 'their spot' by the bandwagoners, the others have moved from the middle. Last season one of the main lads couldn't attend many games due to work and family commitments which also had an impact. I too have lost a lot of enthusiasm because I start a song and within three or four lines it has died off and it was only being sung by about 20 people in the first place.
Then some idiot starts an anti-FC song and the whole place erupts in to the loudest place on earth!
Probably why Justin hasn't come under much fire for underperforming too, because we have beaten Hull FC and these fans are happy enough to lose every other game except those ones! Everyone needs to get out of this mentality and realise there is a bigger picture and we need to get behind the lads. Hopefully the night match atmosphere will return this Saturday.

I agree about the anti FC songs, but lets be honest they have been going on for a long time, personally I find them embarrassing unless we are playing them.
The one thing I do have an issue about is the use of the term bandwagoners, that just reinforces the view that were a small time club (like the anti fc songs). Can;t believe anyone has been forced out of 'their spot' either because except for last week the east stand has always had plenty of room in it. All clubs have fans who come and go with success, I hope we get a thousands of more of these at will mean we are being successful. The clubs vision is to compete at the top of the game and without a large fan base this can be kissed goodbye. The loyal 1200 have been just that but there is an element of self righteousness about some that to be honest is misplaced. I personally am glad we're in a position i had more or less thought I'd never see again.
I agree beating FC shouldn't be the be all and end all but to some finishing 1 place above them lot is enough. If they pay their money and they're happy with that who am I to argue. Suppose its better than being peed off all the time.

| Good points.
Although I'm not sure it was actually noisier pre SL - but chants certainly captured more of the stand it seemed.
As Nick points out a lot of chants die a quick death nowadays, whereas this wasn't always the case.
Can't say I shout too much myself now tbf n all. I kind of put this down to usually having someone direct in front of me (the step immediately in front) and I more or less end up shouting right down his/her ear. If you don't know these people IMO it can be a bit of a put off when you're all crammed in and you find you're the only one who's shouting. Days of old you'd have your own 'space' and freedom to get involved (and have pint/sit down @ half time) - chants/songs seemed to have a natural flow along the East Stand whereas now, things have been somewhat diluted.
The demographics of the East Stand have more or less kinda’ stayed the same - I still go to the same spot I did pre SL (although a lot earlier) and the 'ultras' (want for a better word) are still in the middle. However the extension does now solely belong to those who love nothing better than to sing about Hull. I think our rivalry with Hull makes it easier to give 'new' fans a quick Hull KR identity by singing stuff about em, but in some ways, that's all what appears to matter to quite a few now. What got the biggest cheer 2nd half against Crusaders? One Josh Charnley?

| It may be an unfavourable term but they are indeed bandwagoners. They jumped on and will jump off just as quick. I have no problems with them supplying our club with the much needed income and they can stand where they like because it is unreserved terracing. The problem is though they see where the most fun is had in the East stand and instantly desend on that spot but suddenly find they are out of their depth in the support we have always had in the middle.
If people do not want to sing the full song why start in the first place? I don't mind the occasional anti-FC song but it is when it is time after time. We are Hull KR, we want our team to be the most successful in the league not just the city. Hull for two years before last finished near the bottom of the league yet it was more important to these paying customers (shall we call them?) to beat these failures than it was to beat the main competition.
I just wish everyone would get behind Hull KR and join in the songs that support these boys. Fair enough if you don't like certain songs but when you die off on our club anthem then there is seriously something wrong with your support.
