I cannot believe that people are trying to get other posters banned, it says more about them to me. It's only banter and if people don't like it don't respond, it's as simple as that.
The reasons she's not liked on here is because she reels the same people in time and time again, let's be honest she's very good at what she does and that annoys people even more. Don't respond if it gets to you that much or even better try taking it for what it is Banter.'"
the reason shes not liked on here Suzie is probably because every post she comments on ends in farce, is derailed, turns into a slanging match, Mrs B and a good few others can ruin a good thread before its even got going. i do admire her stamina though, she just keeps going and going

There does seem to be a Pavlov's Dogs phenomenon going on here, though, in that whenever I post anything at all it's like ringing a bell and the pack of dogs starts salivating, regardless of whether or not it's contentious and/or uncomfortable. There's a subtle difference between posting aggressively for a reaction (name-calling and personal insults), and being a bit provocative by providing a counterbalance to the generally rather one-eyed smugness that characterises this board (pmh and Mild Rover excepted). Willie Mason is a great example. Since his signature was announced (and the reasonable sprinkling of concerns expressed about him, particularly when he was briefly linked with FC, coincidentally silenced) posts about him have been virtually unanimously positive. And why not - exciting stuff? I post a very recent article (one that seems to have slipped through Roverswall's minute by minute NQC news search, surprisingly) which has direct quotes from Willie saying he's been wrestling whilst out on the lash 100 times, and thinks that locals have a duty of care to avoid any stories that may arise of their team out on said lash leaking out, and Easty's response to this is to call me a man. I'm guessing that was intended in a not very nice way, but if he's an Alpha Male, and let's say that he is for the sake of argument, I take it as a pretty robust compliment. The thread did then get diverted, but as the record shows, the derailment wasn't started by me.
I think you're exaggerating also if you think I derail every single thread. For starters I've not posted on half of them, and where I have, say on the Wilkin one, the comment about him being outpaced by 32 year old prop Andy Coley was a reasonable and quite amusing point and one made by others on other boards. Richard Horne suffered the same a few years back and it became a bit of a standing joke when describing him. I think it just seems that I'm ubiquitous because there is so much consensus and self-congratulation on here that any challenge produces a siren and flashing neon arrow sign with "trouble-causer" on it. There is also no crime in repetition or being boring. If there were, Justin Morgan would require a police escort from his vantage point at the end of games to head off the tedium of his post match media interviews

| Truly now, enough of the board discussing the board. rlhttp://www.RLfansfansrl doesn't exist for a reason. If you fail to comply I'll insist you have a character of my choosing from a David Croft sitcom as your avatar on pain of banishment. I might do it, I could go Rogue. Until admin find out, at least.
If anybody wants to discuss any of these issues further please do so by PM with RBA, Matty, GJB or GML.

Those who follow the path of the righteous:
shall have their reward.: |

| Bit late coming back to this topic, but Mrs B. has firmly established she can look after herself on here, she doesnot seem to resort to personal name calling, but I must pull her up on her comment of "one-eyed smugness on here", there is a lot of that from the other side of the city.
Much as I love Justin's work for HKR, Mrs B. was spot on with her comments about him !!
Keep rattling the cages Mrs B. it entertains the rest of us.

They prefer insular debates. Mrs B doesn't mind it up her, so to speak, but some other people clearly cannot take it.

Pale blue doesn't do it for me. We had a very pale blue hooped one a couple of years ago, which I really like (looks great on me, obviously), but was a bit incongruous on the likes of Sam Moa and made the players look a bit, well, fairy-like and unthreatening. Look at Mason in this picture. He looks like his bunions are hurting he wants a sit down with a cup of Yorkshire Gold and slice of parkin to watch a repeat of A Place in the Sun : Home or Away? Not "grrrr" enough for me, I'm afraid.
Why have Rovers not done a proper retro shirt since their return to SL, a proper broad red band on a white background? Madness.

Would have said more Wilson than Godfrey. Mild, not bland.

Not a thin band, a broad one. Just one, broad, red band, on a plain white background. Nowt else. How difficult can that brief to a supplier be?
