so why when other games go to video ref do they look at ball carrying arm being down or not whilst tackler is in contact or not with him. even one of their players went to dummy half, referee interpretation????

I cannot beleive that grown up people could actually beleive that a professional referee can have a grudge against a particular team. Now they want you to beleive that the players are scared to complain to the same refereee for fear of being sin binned.

I'm preparing to be shot down but I think Thalers been one of the better refs to officiate at HKR this year. Thought he had a reasonably good game on Sunday, let play flow made clear decisions. Not seen the tackled / not tackled one again but its a 50 /50, Briscoes knock on was another. Had that been the other way round I'd have been bemused but he did have a better view than me.

Scarily enough the other ref who seems to have been ok this year is Alibert.

The only complaint I have against Alibert is the ridiculous comedy step he takes every ptb so that nobody is ever actually offside!

Why would that clarify anything???

In fact using that sort of logic would surely make Ian Smith an ardent red and white
