I don't think anyone disputes that but he's not in his prime and the question is which is the better scrum half now. Dobson outperformed him last season and I don't see why he can't do it again.

You're quite correct, not keen on him playing for your lot as I think it's a master stroke for you, as is well documented you've missed someone to push you around the park for a long, long time.
Rovers fans would do well to remember Long showing his class in more ways than one in the 2005 CC semi final, at about 40-nil down a section of the Rovers crowd were singing an ironic "can we play you every week" chant, Long looked up to the Lawrence Batley (as it was then) stand, gave us a wink and applauded us. He gets this game, it's culture, meaning and resonance to the fans. |

I am a big admirer of Brisc, however I think Tansey not only offers the same in defence he offers more in offence from what I have seen so far, will be very interesting one this, well maybe not for Bertie |
