| Poaching is our defence coach our defence is Barry White !! Send him off with Charlie Chester.
Coach should be a person who inspires the team and has man management skills.

Agar? he's only an assistant at Warrington and would surely welcome another head coach role!

| Jeez, I hope this isn't long term. This smacks echoes of the Sandercock sacking.

I'm pretty sure that Poching will not be considered for the job of full time coach, but the club does require someone to take charge in the short term while the board of directors consider their options.
My guess is they will have had one or two possible contenders for the job in mind for a while now and will no doubt release such information in due course.

| Always a tough decision, but looks the right one to be me, you seem to have gone backwards each season he has been in charge and his recruitment in both seasons overall has been poor and not addressed weaknesses in the squad.
Tough job for someone to come in and take over with the current squad.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Shocked by this, very unlike Neil and Rob to be so trigger happy.
Really hope (and can't see that he will be) we don't appoint Poching as it will annoy the vajazzle off me when everyone spells his name incorrectly.
I'll do my usual Head Coach bingo guess and go for Canada's Kieron Purtill.

When Morgan left he had taken the club as far as he could at the time and we were actually on the slide.
However its quite possible that as a result his experience gained during his last few years spent in the NRL and under some very good coaches, Morgan would now be a lot better coach than when he left us.
Question is....would he want to come and at what cost.?

I agree JM had took us as far as he could but I thought exactly what you put in your response in that he has gained valuable experience so possibly better equipped now than when he left. I cant see what a Rowley / Mcnamara / Noble etc would bring in all honesty but that's just my opinion.

You wouldn't be shocked if you saw and heard the reaction from Hudge, Robbo and Smithy after Sundays game.
The obvious choice is Webbo (not councillor Webster) simply because of his close freindship with Rovers Board.
Personally, I would go for Darryl Powell to take on the task. The club needs a hard task master. I know Darryl really well and he fits this stereotype like a glove.
