| Quote: Dicky Ticker "To think that this was just a last minute signing too due to his Salford deal going through! Their loss is deffo our gain but now wonder how Blair and Kelly will work together as originally planned? Can't imagine us without Campese now even after just 3 games!'" A good bit of business for us if we can tie him up for a couple of years. To have three class halves to pick from makes a pleasent change, I also hope they can inspire & pass on thier skills to our yougsters as it would be nice to produce one of our own.

| I think he'd be a good man to give you a good club culture.
He is a smart man with good habits, both sporting and personal, as far as I'm aware.
He'll teach your young guys to train hard and enjoy the good things in life in moderation.
To be honest, he is the only guy you have signed in the last few years that I wish had gone to the Knights instead.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

| He seems to be a model pro can't understand why Ricky Stuart had a problem with him and your man josh has only missed one kick at goal in three games roopy

As I said about Campese even before you guys were looking at him, being on the outer with Ricky Stuart says a lot more about Stuart than Campese. Stuart has dropped a lot of quality players to reserve grade for reasons that only he understands, and he has a collection of wooden spoons to show for it.
Canberra would have done far better if they had stuck with Dunneman, who was proving to be a quality coach in the Canberra lower grades, but they paid big money for Stuart, so he could rip the heart out of yet another club, by doing things like putting a 500k a year player and club legend in reserve grade and telling him he isn't wanted at the club.

| Campese was class again today, at the heartbeat of everything we did. We need to get him tied to a longer deal before others get interested.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Absolutely, best player on the park today. See's the game at a different pace and was involved in everything good we did. When he came over to the short side to create Sio's break that he then kicked on I thought "what on earth is he doing there?" But he'd seen an opportunity and was exploiting it instantly, his step and pass for Horne's try was quality. If we can keep him fit he'll be better than Green and Burns.

We certainly do, watching the Canberra Raiders game earlier today it's apparent that their loss is certainly our gain.

I thought the same but it was pure vision. He's improved every game so far. Some of his long passing was Cooke-esque.
Like the shirt mate, was stood a few rows behind you.

| Best player on the pitch today by a country mile, get the guy signed up on a long term deal! Heart was in my mouth when he went down with a knee injury though but seemed to come back okay! Defence massively improved despite shipping 30+ again! Should have won! Some absolutely baffling calls by child today, he's an embarrassment to the game. Everyone was solid enough, Kelly had worst game to date, campo best imo. Lacked a bit of composure on their line and mistakes cost us in the end. Said before I went Id be happy with a close score but must say feeling rather gutted as we had wire their for the taking today. Top effort. Play like we have past 2 weeks and we easy get top 8

| TC even starting to get good raps from opposition fans, even though we are only four games in. Thought the fc fan who described him as better than Roger Millward is a little premature, but suppose those old enough to have seen the great man have opinions that should be respected.

| Rovers most gifted player of the Super League era, a natural leader and a wonderful influence on the young players on and off the pitch.

Sticky absolutely did the right thing. I'm not sure how many other coaches would have done it. He gave Campo more than enough time to prove himself in the NRL again (too much time in the mind's of most Raiders' fans).
Campo was great for the second halves of 2008 and 2010. We gave him nearly another 4 whole years with no return. That is a looong time. He was once my favourite player. His passion for the club and his leadership was greatly appreciated. It was definitely time to move on and we are definitely better off for it.

| As someone who has met Ricky Stuart, though from a business angle and not as a player, I must say that he is not a charming man. He is also very highly strung. I just wonder how he establishes a good rapport with and respect from his players. I suspect that some players feel uncomfortable with him as their boss, and do not get along. Terry Campese may well be one such player.
