Well - refer back to all my posts then, and you will see what I said about Wembley eh. You started this thread, I am commenting.
Or keep making up inane drivel. Personally I don't care either way.
PS a period of inactivity coincided with my computer melting.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

| More recent honours
Bigger, better stadium
More fans
Better Youth set-up
So on the original question -Yes. But don't let statements like that get in the way of the threads utter pointlessness.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Both Hull and Rovers fans are as bad as each other for always trying to score points on each other. Personally whilst its good banter or in some cases just bad trolling I think it should be saved for derby weeks only. I have seen many threads on either clubs usually end up into slanging matches and whilst its a rivalry to be proud of at times can become tedious and painful to watch from both sides.
Reality of the matter is both clubs should be doing better then they are and with the resources Hull have I think we should be well within our rights to think we should be Top 4 at least. Rovers on the other hand should be comfortably inside the 8th and at least challenging in play off games, when you got promoted I was looking forward to the derby games but they in reality haven't lived up to hype as neither side is anywhere near the finished article.
Most fans always like to do better then there bitter rivals because you can always say in the off season "well we did better then you" but in all fairness the only teams that should be able to brag is the ones who win the grand final and they should be the team everyone aspires to be like. Derby wins are nice but I would have swapped them for that win at wembley.

| When two clubs are close neighbours then they are essentially competing for the a share out a the same pool of supporters, sponsors and junior players so there is bound to be some friction and a need to offer something better than your opponents. That said I agree that the yardstick any team should use are the most successful sustainable operations where ever they are, which in SL would be Leeds and Wigan at present with acknowledgements to the strong points of other top 4 clubs. Beat or match the best and you don't have to worry about anyone. So I agree with the sentiments expressed in the OP.
The only irony is that the worst offender for the non stop local dick measuring contest is not a few posters on a forum but an embittered ambulance chasing gnome who just can't resist getting in a few cheap pops at every opportunity.

Do you think the sheer number of derbies has affected this though - playing four a season (with the friendly and Magic Weekend) dilutes the occasion IMO. I don't think the quality of the game mattered so much when you only had 2 chances a year to put one over our bitter rival.
In saying that I don't think there's a better solution at the present time - both clubs need the friendly to bring in pre-season income, and I think the Magic Weekend needs the derby's to work as a concept.

Oh dear. You were doing so well until you said that. If you want to start name calling then your chairman is a loud mouthed idiot who (okay rather than having a debate about the exact meaning of the word I'm typing over, lets say we've come far enough to demonstrate that Hull are not a good yardstick on here because it always descends to cheap point scoring - MR) violence to women.
