Kristallnacht would never have happened if Ganson had seen Green was offside.

With Sandercock being offerred a new deal has investment been secured or are we just carrying on regardless? Either way shouldn't we be re-signing some OOC players as well now?

The decision to award Sandercock a one year deal as opposed to two years is striking a sound balance imo, i know that he hasn't achieved the success some people had hoped for by now but considering the fact that we didn't have a very big squad to begin with, plus quite a few were young and inexperienced, compounded by a long list of injuries, its quite difficult to gauge his real potential as a coach imo.
If you look at one or two of the top clubs with bigger and more experienced squads and coaches, you will have noticed by their results that even they have found the going tough at times after losing two or three of their best players for any period of time.

There is no substitute for experience, as anyone who has played rugby or any kind of sport will agree, one thing is for sure, the young players will be better for the experience they gain this season.
In addition the club can hopefully contract up the key players they obviously need to retain, plus sign one or two others that the coach considers suitable and are compatible with the clubs ambitions.
Then, after taking all of the above into consideration by the end of next season, the club should be in a better position to judge Sandercock, if he has failed to impress by that time then I am sure the club including any new investor will sever the ties and without having to pay off any outstanding contract payment, however, should he turn the clubs fortunes around and continue to bring the young players through in the process, the option is then there for the club to extend his contact for a longer period.
Personally, i'm quite optimistic for the future. icon_biggrin.gif

New investors must be looking at admin as existing business model is not viable. Also this explains the lack of announcements.

It looks like Adam Pearsons new business model is to encourage 2,000 Hull FC fans to subscribe to an online gambling website. And I thought charging fans £200 for a game of touch rugby was bad. icon_lol.gif

I spotted Larvin within minutes as a no go ! The delay of announcement shows they must be debating ADMINISTRATION , it is realistically the only way forward for a NEW investor but certainly not the existing owners

You've crammed an awful lot of wrong into 27 words there TF.

There's no delayed announcement, even if there were it would not necessarily mean there were a debate over putting the club into administration, and it is clearly not the only way forward for new owners or investors. Apart from that, bob on!

Harking back to your previous post, administration isn't likely to turn us into a viable business - only 2 or 3 of the very best supported clubs can manage that. Given who are creditors are, there just isn't much point currently, for all that you clearly really, REALLY want it to happen. Soz.

I'm pretty confident we've secured funding for next year. CS being offered a new contract is the firmest indication of that. Plus the piece in the HDM, earlier in the month. Hopefully there are additional irons still in the fire. It'll be interesting to see if we offer any players contracts for 2015 or beyond. With the likely return of relegation next year, and the frquency with which SL clubs seem to find themselves in trouble, I suppose our position won't be dramatically less secure than a few others. Which isn't necessarily saying much admittedly.
