Quote: Grimsby Red "What are the board playing at? We needed a second rower not another back. Now James Green is knocking back contract talks, he must be as sick of the numpties running this club as I am.'"
He is 6 foot tall and 17 stone and apparently can play wing, centre or second row....

'Sauluma is a versatile player who comes from Cronulla, while Lynch is a young prop from Canberra.
The duo will train for seven weeks although it’s likely the club will extend their trial period past Christmas.
“He’s a centre-winger but he played in the backrow for the Sharks last year,” Henry said of Sauluma.
“He’s quite big — he’s over 106 kilos. He’s quite stocky and gives us a bit of versatility there.”'...

| If you can plan to play Yeaman and Whiting in the forwards, you can definitely play Talanoa there. He's already played centre. Next step SR or LF.
Back to Hull's finest though. I can guarantee one thing, Kieran Dixon will never make the transition to centre or SR.

| Talk about grasping at straws. Cos players are big bang em in the pack. Doesn't matter if their game or attributes don't suit position he's big so it doesn't matter.
He may well end up suiting it. But I don't get what rovers are pratting about at. Have a season of being bitched in the forwards at the end of that season you Prioritise that area. Not convert people after the seasons started after loading up with young unproven lads - mostly backs.
I've a lot of rovers pals who are a bit baffled by it all! Looking in,I am

Today's Michael Owen award for stating the bleeding obvious goes to you. Congratulations.

| I honestly think it's a bit of a myth about our forwards getting bullied and steamrolled last season we went into a lot of games with only one proper prop and held our own.The games about more than just having a big pack (Hull will find this out)and our SRs aren't that big but neither are Wigans I think we'll surprise a few people

| There were times last season when our intensity and desire together with a lot of flair, skill and opportunism delivered the required result.
Cup games against Wigan, Catalans and Warrington spring to mind. In 7 or 8 regular season league games we were half decent too plus away to Widnes in the middle 8s. The rest of the time we were pants, thanks to our beaten pack, some mediocre creativity, some cruel luck with injuries, some lukewarm intensity levels, some schoolboy defense and some really cackamallabab play execution.
So when we were hot, we were very hot, but when we were cold, we were polar. The reason for such extremes are detailed above. My worry is that we have not addressed these sufficiently as things stand going into the new season.

That's been us for the last 10 years capable of beating saints Wigan and leeds and also getting hammered by Wakefield and the like
