6 times on Saturday Tilse bounced up for a quick PTB , only for nobody around him to react quickly enough .
Let down by his team mates lack of game smarts.

Tilse had a good game on Saturday and he wins his collisions. His defence is his biggest asset.
He has one issue for me at the moment in that is he is not as good as Mick Weyman, who he was signed to replace. Give him time FFS.
He has pedigree and he will only get better as he gets used to the tempo of SL again.

It was directed at no-one in particular. I first saw Rovers in March 63 and so have seen a lot of good, bad, and superstar players come through the club, as I said Tilse to me is just a good solid prop, if he leaves I wouldn't be crying over it but I am quite happy if he stays for reasons I have mentioned and others have too. |

Thanks for that I lived in thorngumbald for 11 yrs before that born and bred in Hull you started to watch them about the same time has me my first match was at the boulevard went with a friend of mine who was a big rovers fan we lost but the next week i went to rovers been hooked ever since its like a drug |

I was always surprized that Reddy didn't make the switch to the forwards because he is big enough and loves to defend and he never stood out as back. He is a real journeyman who has played at several clubs and has played a lot of reserve grade.
His family is "colourful" - his brother Liam is a soccer goal keeper who is one of the dirtiest players in Australia and was once sacked from a team because his father punched out the coach - which brings us to the father who was one of the dirtiest league players ever and was once a coach of the Adelaide Rams.
Oddly, Joel isn't a dirty player at all. Could do with getting a bit more aggressive if anything.
