HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

| Wasn't he doing enough of that with his short kicks over the top, instead of kicking deep?

| Sandercock sat in the stands would not have realised how strong the wind was, the Rovers fans there had it in their faces behind the opposite sticks. It was 100% the right call to turn the kick down.

No idea, was at the game, although he was near Lloyd in the stand so it's possible.

No.
Burns managed to follow up his short kicks and fly hack them on. The Keating chip late on was a real shocker though. Very poor thinking and it gave Salford the field position that might well have resulted in a winning drop goal.
Personally I agreed with the decision not to go for goal it was a long way out into a very strong wind and the sodden conditions giving unsure support for the non kicking foot. The most likely outcome would have been the kick falling short and giving Salford possession. Yes maybe it might just have crept over who knows but with 10 minutes still left it might not have won the game anyway.
Didn't Burns get criticised for taking a drop goal with less time remaining last week? He's the captain and correct me if I'm wrong but that makes him entitled to make on the pitch decisions.
Obviously it's disappointing to not win when we probably should have done but the conditions were terrible and the game was always going to be a slugfest. There were never going to be many points in this game because the conditions made defending easy and errors inevitable.
Point lost? Hardly I see we have moved up the table not down. The away point we got tonight is one more than Hull FC have got in the entire season.

| I saw the in-goal official retreive a bottle thrown from our end, I also saw the stewards drag out a dick who tried to get onto the pitch.

Hi Rolf.
You seemed an OK bloke on those animal vet shows but I'm not liking what they are saying about you in court.

Yes it did really happen and there is no excuse.
But I do advise to the Salford club that having a guy walk round the perimter edge with a 'Fosters Lager' logo strapped to his back and pulling a trolley full of chilled bottled said liquid available for immediate purchase makes the scenario eminently possible.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

Maybe you should advise Rovers similarly

re
I've never noticed anyone walking round the pitch offering bottled beer for sale like I saw today at Salford.
If this practice goes on at Rovers - and I'm certain it doesn't I condemn it.
