Why is it odd for us to sign a player who is 30 in November on a one year deal with the option of a second year. Is it not more odd to sign a player who's 32 before the next SL season starts on a two year deal? |

OK but you won't like it.
Cast your mind back to 2008. FC got to the Cup Final and finished 11th out of 12 . The following season 12th out of 14. If there had been relegation those years you'd have been pretty close. And this was with a better squad then you have now and an experienced coach,something which Radford is not.
My response was in reply to that dufus Diablo's statement about Rovers not being in SL in 12 months time. |

Not a bad amateur player was wasn't Hudge, fullback i believe, plus he became a chairman of the club, not the coach.
As chairman of a club, a good degree of business knowledge is required rather than knowledge of coaching a team, i think its fair to say that Neil Hudgell is well qualified with the former and has done very well so far imo. |
