| Just one of many decisions that Thaler got wrong, his bias towards the top clubs is embarrassing.

| Was definately a knock-on.
Jake knocked it one handed into the Saints player (Meli?), it bounced off him and into touch. Correct decision - I was stood it the East Stand extension so had a perfect view.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I'm not sure it's towards the top clubs, just towards the more dominant team.
First fifteen minutes everything seemed to go Saints' way, then, once we got a roll on we hardly had another decision go against us, indeed, I'm fairly certain we came out on top in the penalty count.

Were you at a different game? Whether Webster knocked on I can't say, my gut feel is it was play on. However, the ball certainly never went into touch, Mika produced one of the best one handed pick up's you will ever see and got stopped about 1 mtr from the line. At that point Thaler calls the knock on and awards the scrum to Saints.
HKR tv will clear a lot up I suspect.

Yeah you're right - that bit is my lousy memory. Mika did pick the ball up.
The thing that got me with the knock-on was that Thaler couldn't see the knock-on as he was on the other side. It was right in front of the TJ but he never offered up his opinion until he was asked by Thaler.
The correct decision was made but it's another example of the TJ's not getting involved when clearly they should

| I might be wrong here but I think that most, if not all referees tell the touch judges to keep quiet unless they're asked for there opinion.
I can see the point, in a game as fast moving as modern rugby league you need to make split second decisions, having two wheezing blokes shouting their opinion down your log hole.

Reckon it'd be very uncomfortable trying to ref a game with blokes wheezing down your log hole..

| Webster made a right hash of it either way, but my gut thinking at the time and now is that there was no knock on, just Webster fumbling the ball and then flicking it backwards. Maybe that's what I wanted to believe given my vantage point. In any event it was the TJ that gave it IMO. The little argument between Webster (shaking and wagging his finger) and the TJ nodding as if to say "Oh yes you did" and Webster like "Oh no I didn't"
Chanting was a spontaneous gesture of a disappointment. The 'knock on' that was/wasn't, the clock freeze and then the subsequent penalty. Massive disappointment all round. It was an obvious high tackle but you don't want to accept that at the time. Everyone says things they perhaps shouldn't when they're upset - no idea why you're so thin-skinned about it. I bet Thaler wasn't that fussed, it comes with the territory of being the referee. He'll always be the bad guy to one set of fans half the time. Still, I noticed Thaler didn't hang around at the end of the game! Whoosh and he was outta' there.
I'm more surprised you weren't effected by the booing/jeering/noise when Jamie Foster was kicking for the draw. Poor lad. Especially considering he has such high opinions of us "Always a tough place to play, some really pleasant fans as well...Ha" - @jamiefoster22

| It must be nice supporting a team that gets away with laying on, interferring at the play the ball, usually lining up in front of the referee and dubious tackling. Getting away with 50-50 decisions must also by a joy. I am also not surprise that you are called "Saints" because you always see both sides of every game and do not question any decision made. I should be very careful at your next home match Yellow Giraffe that your hallo doesn't strangle you. Hope you practise what you preach when your lot play WIGAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| In fairness to Thaler I don't think he got too much wrong in the cold light of day although I may not have said the same at quarter to 5 yesterday.
For me the two worst decisions he made was Wellens knock on when he awarded us a scrum and not penalising Soliola when he was screaming at him in much the same as Shannon Mac did in the first half.
Websters "knock on " from the drop out looked pretty blatant to me too although from the South end of the East stand I didn't have as good a view as some.
When you are on top you always get the rub of the green thats just the way that RL works.

I can only assume this is a joke of some sort.
From start to finish yesterday, you lot employed spoiling tactics at the play the ball and attempted to slow us down at every opportunity. Thaler was very lenient all day is this respect.
I'm not quite sure what has prompted such a response from you, nor do I understand your comment with regards to my halo (or hallo if you prefer.) I have never claimed we are perfect and I can always see both sides of the argument. However, my initial point remains, any Hull KR fan claiming to be robbed yesterday is entirely incorrect.
