| Digger, what's the point of spouting off if you've hardly seen Newton play this season?
He deserved his place in last years dream team. My guess is that Joel Tompkins & Ben Harrison will be picked this time, but Clint's the top try scoring forward in SL this season...who's to say he won't get picked again?
FWIW Gavin Miller's the best player I've ever seen in a Rovers shirt, but Clint Newton's as good as any 2nd row we'd had in the time I've been watching.

I said I had only seen him LIVE once this season. You hardly get a good view on tv as you can only see the player when he has the ball or when he is in screen shot. If I am to form an opinion on a player then I prefer to watch his movements away from the action.
For example he may spend a lot of time bent over double puffing and panting.
Or laying down on the floor a lot.
Or pointing to a skinny young winger urging him to take another drive in whilst he had a rest.
Do you get me?

| By skinny young winger I take it you mean Latus? But he's been playing on the opposite side to Clint.
Seems to me you're only seeing what you want to see. Fair enough, everyone's entitled to an opinion.
I've seen Clint play live plenty of times & fact is he's a good un whether you like it or not.

Who mentioned Clint? Or Latus?
I think you are convincing yourself about the Nail Painter and are paranoid to the point you jump to conclusions my friend

| Digger's hatred of Newton is on a purely amateur level compared to Bazza Lilley! Newts biggest crime was arriving in 2008 and displacing some English players who weren't really up to the job (unless you want to finish 11th every year!)

Not Latus? Must be one of the other skinny young wingers we've used this season...Fox, Colbon or Cockayne then.
No paranoia here mate, just objective opinions based on what I see on the field.

| Looks like he's playing clubs against each other and holding out for the best deal, 3yr and £110,000 a year..
[url=http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/sport/HULL-KR-Robins-deal-strong-says-Mason/article-2571942-detail/article.htmlHERE Really hoping we stay clear now, he wouldn't be interesting in coming here if his best days weren't behind him (let's face it - the NRL is years ahead of SL), it's a paid holiday rather then a 'new challenge' IMO.
Keep developing guys like Watts Rovers, the way to go...

Maybe a trophy bonus, reaching a certain amount of apperence? Tbh £110,000 isn't that much.
