Not sure at this stage. Looks good on paper but as great as he's been on the field he has no experience off it currently. It's one think working in an elite sporting environment and another creating one.

| I can't belive some of the drivel I am reading. What club have you been watching? We started this season with nearly a complete new team with most pundits saying we would struggle. We never had the two big impact forwards we planed to have in round one yet we have beaten every side except Leeds & Cas, have played some very very entertaining rugby are still in the cup & may yet make the top 8. This team & the way they play is a complete breath of fresh air compared to last year & they will only get better. We always knew this year would be a transition & any level of success would be a bonus. My only complaint with this season is the RFL's ridiculus fixture backlog caused by making the bottom 4 play an extra cup round. I am looking forward to next year after a few signs of what they can do.

Can't really argue with any of that. I think some people seem a bit disillusioned because we seem to drift from one end of the scale to the other looking like world beaters one week and a pub team the next. Sometimes within the 80 minutes!!!

| Very frustrating but much more enjoyable than the previous 2 seasons, the obvious worry to me is our away form which to say the least is abysmal. I think it is up to the coaching staff to motivate these players to get a performance, and for the players it must be a mental problem because this team has bags of ability.
Moving forward i believe we have the nucleus of a good squad, the coach needs to decide on his full back and stick with it,for me it would be Dixon against Hull just for his talent offensively! It is a must win game and we concede 30 points regularly anyway so surely Dixons superior speed may get us over the whitewash more often.
For next season we need 2 big back rowers in my opinion and make a decision on the hooker situation.
My prediction for Friday 32-28 if Kelly plays.

From what I have heard from a reliable source, he has and he currently doesn't play for us.

If I was Rovers I would be looking at two players Ryan Hampshire or Jamie Shaul.

| I'd rather stick with Dixon, the lad has done nothing wrong that any other Full back doesn't on a weekly basis. The days of a Shaun Briscoe type defensive player are long gone. Salford game apart he's been our most potent runner. Hampshire had a mare a few weeks back on tv and doesn't have the pace of Dixon. Shaul wouldn't fit into Chester's team building philosophy, hence the reason Radford isn't playing him

Another name could be Ash Goluding, wont get a game at Leeds with their backline (Although this could be a loan deal)
And one more from the other end for a year, if you have a young FB coming through, Matty Bowen.

I really hope Cockanye plays FB on Friday and not Dixon, despite his errors and defence, he frightens the life out of me with his running and quick feet.

Matty Bowen makes Dixon look like a safe pair of hands, if it was him then we're finished...
Dixon has scored 13 tries this year and won MoM 5 times and thats from someone who has missed a fair few games and been played out of position a number of other times. If we replace him he will come back to bite us playing for another team.

I can imagine most coaches think the same. There is a fallacy that Cockayne is a super defender who never makes mistakes wherein the reality is that he makes as many. He is slightly better in defence but the team as a whole need to take responsibility for the defence and allow KD to do what he does best
