We would score lots, but concede more, he cannot defend good enough to be a SL fullback IMO.

| Sheriffe has shown he is good enough at full back, Hall for me would be back up in that position. Hall would be very good as an attacking full back but I think he is better at 6.That leaves the problem where do you play Burns?

Injuries will inevitabley ensure that it is a problem we face less often than we'd like. A bit of depth or competition for places is very much a good thing.
I'm pretty certain Burns will play 6, but Hall is versatile.

Whilst it can all change from now until next season, according to WP, Craig Hall will be training in the FB role; Travis Burns off-half; Cory Paterson 2nd row; Rhys Lovegrove LF.
I heard at the London match Dave Petersen has turned down Rovers 1yr offer.

Why are the club fannying about with 1 year offers for a good young kid who clearly has a future at SL level? Offer him 3 years, he will be an established 1st teamer within that contract.
NH can't moan about losing the likes of Taylor whilst offering these kind of contracts.

It's a case of picking the right ones. Peterson does look the part though, and is only 20 - 2 years like Salter and Green would be good. More than that for a player with only about 5 games under his belt is a big commitment.
Having let Mariano go, I half suspect we over compensated by giving Beaumont 2 years, and this might be swinging too far t'other way again.
Mind you, the people at the club are much better placed than me.

Yes it's difficult to keep everyone but I certainly would make a bit of an effort for Petersen.
He plays with tremendous energy and although he's not the biggest he's tough. Put a bit more weight on him and he reminds me a bit in style of Gavin Miller I think he is a very good prospect indeed.
Any signing is a gamble but you have to back your judgement sometime and I doubt it would break the bank to keep Petersen. If we let him go I feel certain someone else will step in and we will regret it.

| Sheriff has looked more confident every week since the game at Widnes, I was one of his biggest knockers but since then he has somewhat proved himself.
I'd give him the no.1 jersey next year.
1. Sheriff
2. Hall
3. Gleeson
4. Welham
5. Hodgson
6. Burns
7. Dobson
8. Tuimavave
9. Withers
10. Paea
11. Lovegrove
12. Paterson
13. Hodgson
14. Mika
15. Taylor
16. O'Hara
17. Peterson/Griffin

| I'm hoping to see a fitter Con Mika next season, we've seen glimpses of what he can do, hopefully with a good pre season he can push on.
I doubted Sheriff too, but ill hold my hand up because the kid has done well, I'd like to think we could get better, but if were going with what we've got then I'd pick him over Hall.
Omari Caro is a bit green, but hopefully he will keep improving and hopefully strike up a good partnership with Gleeson/Salter.
I'm hoping the arrival of Gleeson doesn't hinder Liam Salters progress too, as the kid has shown real promise.
Jordan Cox I want to see fully fit running out wide, scaring the pants off opposition backs.
I'm not really sure what to expect from the two NRL forwards, ill judge them after a few games.
Travis Burns, if he's good enough for Clint then hell do for me.
