Many thanks to the gracious Hull fans for the congratulations to our club.
Yes, we could have made the top six, no we did not deserve to. We have not been tough enough to beat on occasion and my fervent hope for next season is that we get a bit of grit into the side, and become more difficult to beat. If we can eliminate some of the cricket scores against us and maybe turn some of the marginal deafeats into marginal wins then we will be progressing nicely.
Hull have performed well below anyone's expectations. As a Rovers fan I am delighted that we finished above them, as a RL fan from Hull I am disappointed that the city has no representation in the play offs and regardless of their performance this season Hull must be favourite to fill that position next year.

Be interesting to see who the bookies give the shorter odds for making the play-offs next year. Rovers have come a long way quickly, but each step now will be harder. Hull need a damn good shake (and some better luck in fairness), but any complacency that had crept in should have gone now.

| Well folks,Rovers did it,finished in a creditable position,considering the time in S.L. ,I would be lying if I said I didn`t think Hull would finish above you,but fair do`s.You hold the bragging rights for now,but I for one am hoping for a tighter race next season.  |
