I wouldnt be overly disappointed with Tommy Lee, slightly underwhelmed maybe but who else is available currently who has a fair bit of experience. He's looked pretty good for salford this year.

Hooker's a pivotal position in the modern game & not one we can afford to skimp on.

Dress it up how we want we will have, as it stands, little threat from full back(if Eden is going) no threat from 7(if keating stays) Burns may stay, may go, may want to go but stays and our Hooker goes from (Imho) 2nd best hooker in the league and an 80minute player to an ok 60 min guy. Hall going is a pretty big blow if only for his covering the halves role, were strengthening the wings and centres finally and wont have anyone capable of putting them away (as it stands) oh yeah and a coach who, upto now has not made me any more confident than Sandy did, bottom 4 next year but staying in S.L is my guess. If thats our aim all well and good. Hull have signed a quality half Salford Dobson and no doubt a few more quality guys, Wakey have, it seems, a good coach and will have tim Smith playing at the club he seems to love. Honestly will our 1, 6, 7 and 9 win us a place at the top table?

Pretty much sums it up for me, as things currently stand.

He cant replace josh,but if we strengthen other areas with the transfer fee paid for josh it may counteract to an extent the loss.Our backs in general have been awful bar a couple of exceptions,mantellato would be a big plus imo,4 trys,24pts and man of the match this weekend,may only be 2nd grade,but still a good level,larroyer signed,so things not all bad.

Nope. Charlie is equal to Eden when you balance out attack and rubbish Eden defence. Hall makes too many mistakes. He lost us the Salford home game. Agree on Keating but may have youngsters worth a go. New speedy backs already signed. Travis is the quandry. If he wants to go, sell him. Frees up a quota space as well as space on salary cap for a replacement.

He seems to have some deal with Michael Dobson that Dobson gets to kick if Josh scores a try, so Dobson had 4 kicks for 4 goals.
The bottom line is Josh could have scored 32 - or 36 if he didn't miss two goals himself.
He 6 trys in the last 2 games puts him up to 15 for the year, which means he is about 3rd in the league for trys scored, first for goals and first for points.

I think he'll prove to be a big asset for rovers
