| Quote Gallanteer="Gallanteer"And you've got to read posts correctly. The heartland clubs have seen all this bravado before and the vast majority of the time it fails, therefore I think comparisons are fair at the moment. Toronto are not Leigh and you support Toronto not Leigh. However, your behaviour on these boards is exactly the same as certain Leigh fans were 3 years ago.
Oh, and Toronto, if it does work out, will only affect a single SL club. Your promotion mathematically would only relegate a single other club so your statement above is factually incorrect. Unless you meant the opposition you might beat in the coming games, but then again, what was the score against part timers Featherstone?
FWIW Leeds are there for the taking at the moment. Good luck in the coming games (apart from us of course).'"
Been an interesting competition with the likes of Toronto and London, however I don't see anyone gaining automatic promotion instead Toronto will be in the million pound game away to Salford

Rugby League as a sport struggles to get punters through the gates. So, who was it that came up with the bright idea to schedule the most important 7 fixtures with 10 days notice when lots of would be customers are on their holidays?
Mental.

There is no bravado...rather statements of fact. Once again I repeat, Toronto is not Leigh. I feel there is real possibility that more than one SL club might go down....if Toulouse gets hot and plays that wide open game you never know what can happen (even to Toronto).
Thank you for the wishing of luck...right back at ya!

| Enjoy stuffing Toronto, and sending Canoeboy packing with his 'arrogant tail' between his legs.
Thrashed at home by Featherstone.....oh dear

| Remember Halifax beat you after you had won the league. I would not write the wolfpack off just yet.
They are the only team to win at the shay this year in the league. But a close game. Looking forward to my visit to Your ground again. Defo looking forward to seeing us beat the rhinos at home.
Bring on the middle 8s

| I think you've hit a good run of form at just the right time so should be ok. I'm not sure about Toronto, they appear to have out muscled the teams in the Championship that won't happen against the SL clubs, even Widnes, I could see them (if they get beat in the first game) collapsing in a heap. Widnes v Toronto in the MPG game.

| I think it's more likely to be Widnes than Salford in the middle 8's. Wouldn't surprise me if the final middle 8's table resembles the bottom of the final SL table.

| If we have Salford first game as is being touted then it's a fairly tough start.Just watched highlights of them v Leeds and hard to work out if Salford were very good or Leeds awful or a bit of both? They are a different team at home it seems so it's good they come here. For me Salford have better players than Widnes but not convinced they will win enough away games? There could be 2 Super league teams in MPG very easily and If we lose that first game we would be in peril.Leeds look in turmoil also so you just don't know? Interesting in a macabre way
