He's a bloke (and from what I can tell a good one) whose career is threatened by injury. He's also class player - the kick for Blair's try last week is probably my season highlight.

So I really don't want to see it end here for him. But the club does need to decide whether to stick or twist now. Even if he makes it back within a few weeks, the risk of having to complete any game he starts with 16 is significant. And you can't make new signings after the 8s start. On the other hand, if he could string 5 or 6 games together it'd potentially make a massive difference.

You have to ask why he left......maybe our previous coach took no notice of his advice?

I don't get all the people on here with 20/20 hindsight, It was a gamble on him with his history of injuries but he is probably the best half this club has ever had in terms of class & skill (only the great Rodger has been better in my life time) Even injured his experiance & leadrership around the squad is worth his wages alone.

Terry Campese is our most influential player ...by far.....though it has to be admitted that his ongoing injury issues cast a doubt on his overall value.

Getting rid now doesn't seem to make much sense to me unless someone at Rovers is willing to stump up to pay him off and then find a similar quality replacement and pay similar big bucks for the new man assuming such a man exists ....which he doesn't.
