I just love people who define who a true Rovers fan is, which basically comes down to "anyone who thinks what I think".

They tend to be the type who like to use the suffix "....FACT" in place of "....ONLY MY OPINION".

I used to drive down Laburnum Avenue to matches though. I suppose I will have to live with being just a Rovers' fan and look on with envy at the "True Rovers' Fans".

Is it someone who never asks why they don't serve onions with the bloody hot dogs?

I am guilty on points 2 and 3 above and with a little more Carling lager, I might be persuaded on point 1.

For the record I was born on Westcott Street, was baptised at St Columbas and went to school in Mersey St. I sold match programmes as a teenager for 3 years outside the old Craven Park in all weathers. Not once did I ask for a pay rise. Despite this my daughter is an avid Rhinos fan. Kids eh?
