When Sandy left I believe Travis said he would not be exercising his get out clause. It is probably too late now. What information have you that he is leaving anyway. All I have seen is speculation, mainly put out by doom and gloom merchants.

If that's true then it is very disappointing and fans are entitled to ask how Rovers have allowed it to happen.

Assuming that Burns has been continuing to draw his wages, I would tell him that he has failed to exercise any get out clause, that he is still contracted for another year and that the club is unwilling to release him.

Maybe, just maybe if Saints or anyone else want to pay way over the odds then we could consider letting him go on the clubs terms....as long as we can get someone else of similar or better quality. Who knows maybe that is how the club feel too, I'm sure Neil Hudgell would not roll over and let Burns go for nothing.

With the influx of new backs (and others) I wonder if Burns will stay, knowing our strikeforce is improving.
