Gentle say's it as it is.. Everything he says after the games is spot on.. He did say that the better teams bring out the best in us. He also stated this was down to an attitude problem as we seem more interested in the big games against the big sides and struggle or do just enough against the so called weaker sides.

Regarding the best coach in hull. That's still up for debate as both have done reasonably well with the budgets they have had. (As for us being a richer club is not our fault. We've got a Owner who's willing to plough money into us)
But Sandy has done well, But Gentle is building for our future and has brought in several youngsters who have cemented starting births and for that reason alone i'm going to say Gentle.

Gentle has implemented decent attacking systems and has the least penalised team in competition which is good.

However, his attacking structures are worse than average with FC being the 12th worst try scorers in the league, some of his recruitment is questionable and he has little capacity to improve players to rid them of their deficiencies which will always leave plenty for the opposition to target.

Gentle is a toss-pot also, never giving the opposition any credit when his team gets beat when in actual fact he can't see (or is in denial) that he simply is an average coach with a chronic lack of ideas in attack.

I look forward to his team getting a pasting when they come to MS3 CP when CS will expose how poor a coach Gentle is in comparison.

Sandercock had the worst luck of any coach in the whole of Super League this season but he never once failed to give credit to the opposition when his team got beat.

Gentle acts like he's the greatest coach on the planet when in actual fact his team couldn't attack a ballon with sewing pin.

His brand of rugby league is crap and he should learn to accept that his team loses games because he's a very average coach of a very average team.
