The 9th is the Monday. Why can't they sign if off on Friday 6th. We play London at home on the 8th and we could give the stand a grand opening? It's only 3 days and TBH they'll hardly be working on the Saturday or Sunday.

Surely, it can be organised to cordon off the NO GO areas (extra stewarding), rent 4 portaloos, and put a Greasy Joe near an entrance. Its not rocket science. . .is it?

I am. I have worked on my tools and now as a professional consultant and I have worked on many projects that have been partially handed over while construction continues, some of them residential apartment blocks. There is no reason why the seating areas cannot be handed over if the access to the other facilities is cordoned off correctly. The main issue would be toilet facilities, but this can be satisfied with mobile units on a temporary basis.

I think the main reason it is not being considered is that the costs may outweigh the benefits.
