I might be wrong about this but before Hudgell got involved I seem to remember he was was around on the scene getting more and more involved all the time. He didn't just turn up one windy day in a manky old hoody with a magic money box.

It is still possible however that he has chosen to give HKR monies.
In much the same way that a foreign investor is looking to give Salford some cash which he may never see again.

What would happen if after the end of this month the club announce it is off and then £5M arrives in HKR's account would they just transfer it back and say 'no thanks'?

So far, Rovers have stated that nothing has been agreed with Mr Larvin (and talks are obviously on going). Rovers have previously stated that they want to see the necessary proof of funds, before commenting further -this doesn't mean that this 'proof' will be in the form of the 'physical' funds been transferred to their account.

The latest statement (obviously) - rather implies that it's a bit of a stalemate at the moment, therefore a deadline has now been set to 'resolve' the issue(s). What these are, we clearly can only begin to imagine and certainly not discuss.

From Rovers perspective, we/they have to give Mr Larvin every opportunity to produce the necessary been asked. But with a deadline now been set, (all 6 working days of it) - you kinda' get the feeling the deal on offer has hit a bump and it's been like that now for some time. A club in our position wouldn't just walk away from 'talks' about an investment this size, unless it had serious doubts/concerns over it.

Only one party has mentioned any transfer of funds. Rovers have just said they are waiting for [iproof[/i of funds - which I take to mean evidence that he has the money and is able to give it to the club. It would be unusual to say the least for someone to actually transfer £5M into a bank account without some sort of contract being in place first.
