Mason came for the money simple as ,yes rovers messed the deal up from the start but i cant honestly say if the passport would have been availiable from the start mason would have still been chasing the $$ .

bottom line is rovers messed the deal up mason was looking for the big $$ deal from the start .

As I see it the Mason fiasco, the Crocker problem, Eastwood at Leeds, Greg Bird at Bradford, the one at Huddersfield who's name I can't remember, could all be stopped by the RFL in one easy rule change. No player can be registered on the playing register of a Super League team, unless the player/club are in POSESSION of all relevant, necessary paperwork.
