Should be an interesting match. I'm told to expect a big response from Wigan and for all those that said we had a poor game v Leeds - in truth if you watch the match again we ripped Leeds apart in the opening 15 minutes, it could have been a different story.
It's all in the start though. I think Rovers need to get Wigan into a position of chasing the game early. If Wigan get ahead then Paul Deacon's return should help us control the game because Rovers have the league's worst pack (statistically) and the least amount of runs from dummy half.'"
Yes we are the bottom of the pile in runs from dummy half, it tends not to be our style of play, but if you look at other stats where were are better than Wigan this season you will see a cause for optimism. We are better in the following areas
Meters
Carries
Tackles
Offloads
Attacking kicks (our game style)
Clean breaks
Kicks in general play
..................and we have missed less tackles than Wigan. |

I don't think your taking into account there that we've played a game less. Average them per games played and Wigan are better or similar to Rovers in most of those departments. |
