I do like to see a bit of biff, however. As mentioned in the other thread, if the video of the testimonial shows that Newton's shot on Long was late and high, I'd hope there'd be an FC welcoming committee for him in the next derby.
Trying to take some sort of violent conduct moral highground against FC fans as a collective, when your own choose to continue direct sponsorship of Ben Cockayne, is frankly laughable. |

If you asked me if I would like to see said player injured,I would reply no. I don`t like to see any player injured,amongst I would think most R.L. fans. |

Do you think it will worry him  its a contact sport and these things happen, he has been on the receiving end quite a few times and it doesn't bother him, he just gets on with it.
Lets see how you feel when the inevitable late, high shot from an FC player is dished out.

I think you are missing the point. You were attempting to bait me with the fact that a few half wits (that's being kind) were making stupid comments about the Tongan Mafia. I condemned those comments. Yet it's clear that a rather large group of Rovers fans chose to sponsor a player convicted in the last year of kicking someone on the floor 20 odd times, when there were other young squad members without sponsorship to choose from at the time. I think you'd be hard-pressed to claim any sort of moral high ground about Rovers fans collectively condemning violent behaviour. Both sets of supporters have a minority of idiots. Deal with it. |
