TBF though Paul with the loopholes on tax avoidance now being closed on overseas players image rights, the prospect of any more top quality aussies coming over here is diminishing unless they are prepared to take a pay cut, which some already here are likely to have to take.
SL may not be as lucrative and attractive to top quality aussies anymore, so you may be stuck with Thorman for more than just this season  |

Not only that but the new franchise criteria place a premium on British players so that could reduce the money available to pay Aussie/Kiwi players. |

We were offered Kimmorley when we lost Webbo. We thought due to his age (and prob cost id imagine too) Dobbo was a more sensible option. |

Not only that he is constantly quoted as playing down coming across to the UK full stop.
He was even quoted as saying he would rather live in the US and play in their 'new' pro league from next year. |
