Well, Always wondered what made you select that username.
Anyone seen FP lately? The lovely Dumette is now a redhead, suits her too.

Sometimes I wonder if an FC board exists.
Next season we get to click on Widnes prior to game days again, its like pre2006 for us.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Excellent, it's even possible to get into trouble on an OT thread!

Oh, that. It's done, Now have a garden full of mixed shrubbery, some cut down into solid fuel fire sized portions and some not. I've invested in an axe with the intent on turning my chainsawed logs into kinderling, did a little bit and got bored. Anyone want some logs of varying lengths and diameters?
I've still not put anything in my shed, we're away this weekend and I wanted to put some racking up in it before filling it with junk which was the problem with the old shed and also my garage.'"
Impressive that, hopeless at DIY me.
Managed to bang a holder for a rotary dryer into the lawn (well, grass) t'other week. Put the dryer in and it was on a massive lean. Pushed the dryer to one side to straighten it up, dryer bent. Banged the dryer back straight and tried to bang the holder straight. Attempted to put the dryer back in the holder, I'd bent the edge so it wouldn't go in.
Threw the dryer over the back fence and told Ms. pmh it had been stolen.

It certainly does we just have threads where every-one mostly argues! however we do not have a chat thread which I think has been a great success, I know the sin-bin has a chat thread but Hull is unique in the sense we have 2 sets of fans from the same city and the chat thread on here provides a place to chat about common interests without touching on the rugby.....
It will be very interesting having Widnes in...they used to be such a big dominating club in the 80's.

I did the same thing t'other week, too! Slightly different method of digging a hole and back filling with post fix, mine's on a slight lean, not enough to warrant digging it out and trying again, though. They aren't the best, are they. Give you a plastic pipe to bury and if you use anything to 'bang' them in, the dryer will no longer slot in.

| My bank gave me this little indestructible credit card-sized fob with a number pad on it, when I log onto t'internet banking I am to turn this fob on and enter a PIN to generate a 6digit security code which will then allow me access to my banking. Got the fob out of the knife drawer and it is failing to turn on, great. Phoned bank, new one in 5days.
I much preferred it the way it was.

YOU maybe an adult this forum is open and others may not be.
THAT was my point from minute 1 you all just got so up in arms at the injustice of it all that you seemed to miss that point, Also as others have noticed the fact that swearing isn't happening has given the board a nicer feel even if you dont want to admit it.

I've got something similar from Barclays, I resisted as long as possible. Takes about ten minutes to get in to my account now, would probably be quicker and easier to just go and rob them.

I do miss a bit of swearing, as I like a bit of swearing, I rarely swore in anger, just more to emphasise a point or just to be silly.
I think you're probably right that the board does have a less antagonistic feel to it, so, well done on the pogrom.

You any good at crosswords? Sometimes there are little words I've never heard of implemented into them, as such I've hardly ever completed one.'"
Ah, that.
No, it's "black and white" who claims to be a chemistry teacher even though he's 65 and can't string a coherent sentence together. I doubt if he's any of the things he says he is - least of all a Hull fan - so asked him the question about the periodic table groups. He never replied, needless to say, despite my pressing him for an answer on several occasions.
Nowt to do with English, though. The atomic numbers within the groups can be equated into musical chords of the most perfect harmonies, apparently, according to my chemistry teacher at school. Not rehed, though, this is the first time I've ever tried to explain it, not very well, probably. I do love the English language and am an appalling snob about the "right" words as opposed to imported ones (grass is "correct", lawn isn't, well done pmh), but veered towards the sciences and engineering in education.
Am fond of scrabble. Xi is a good word. Read a good sci-fi story the other night called "The Xi Effect" which told of how the universe is shrinking, not expanding. People only became aware of this when the colours changed and eventually the world became dark. The universe had shrunk to be smaller than the shortest wavelength in the electromagnetic spectrum. Scary story.

It's terrible, I got a letter that read "please find attached your new securekey... ...you [imay[/i opt out but will then have to do your banking either in the branch or by telephone". There was nothing wrong (in my eyes) with the "please enter the fourth digit of your security code".
I've just managed to put my first screen protector on my phone with no bubbles, Go me! Seems to make the touch slightly less responsive though.
Anyone see this as anything other than a square -
