Interesting argument about who was the best. We shall never know . But wouldn't it have been good to see Ali and Tyson in the ring at the height of there powers.Imo Ali had to much speed for all the heavyweight challenges and would have seen.tyson off but I wouldn't have put my house on it.

Liston and Foreman were harder punchers Ali made fools of them. Holmes troubled him at 40. Ali was banned from age 26 to 29. Most athletes peak years. He could beat any type of fighter.
As soon as anyone pushed Tyson's and got him going backwards he flailed like a fish on a beach. Holyfield destroyed him twice. There's not one heavy weight fighter post Ali that would have got close to him.

Agree ali at his peak was virtually unhittable,the exception being cooper who he felt wasn't a threat,every other fighter prior to his ban who he felt was a threat hardly hit him at all.Tyson would have got nowhere near him IMO,foreman was twice the bully tyson was and look what happened to him,yet 20 years later foreman was world champ again which says it all.

At no point does he say any other race is worse than an other. He helped and supported people of all races.
If Ali was seen with anything other than a black woman in Kentucky he would have been killed. A local boy when he was a kid was lynched for whistling at a white woman and his two murderers acquitted.
