We lose an awful lot of money at our bars because you have Lord Charles, Red Hell, and Soccer Sensation with there prices of beer so much cheaper. Its not rocket science that by the time the fans turn up at CP they have had enough or might just buy 1 for the sake of it. The so called marketing team don't care about putting anything on to get the fans in and this is were we are failing (marketing team need a kick up the 4R5E or sacking) big style in attracting fans through the turnstile earlier.

I've just asked my friend who worked in the events team until last year, they confirmed what Frankie has said and that Rovers get a one-off payment from the catering company but, this agreement doesn't include any special events such as weddings, birthdays etc, these are billed as a one-off and Rovers earn a premium of sales.

That's all well and good and that was the old method. When cgc took over at the beginning of this season it all changed, it's not difficult to understand is it.

I didn't wake up this morning and think I'll tell you that Rovers get a percentage of the bar takings when they don't.

Having dealt with them since the change to cgc this is the case. Whether you choose to believe it or not is completely up to you.
