The RFL have got no reason to block it. I can see no especial reason for Hull FC or Hull City to block a one-off game. A permanent move would raise issues around maintaining the pitch, but not this. Pearson might use it as a bargaining chip in his effort to get a better rent deal, might even get a cut of the gate above a certain number, who knows? Saying no (and we don't know that the veto applies to one-off events) gains him nowt tangible. Patronising faux-magnanimity is the best you can hope for, IMO.

Somebody better inform the RFL that Hull FC will need to benefit in some way if they play any of the World Cup fixtures at the KC.

Therefore Rovers benefactor Mr Allem will make the executive decision.

I sincerely hope that we get a deal that's right for Rovers fans here. Having bought my pass in good faith I expect no lesser view than I'm used to. Therefore I would expect several posts to be installed along the length of the East Stand at the KC in order to replicate my viewing pleasure.
