One should never give way to bully boy tactics as the politicians have learned to their cost with the News Corporation affair.
Would any club react to the very poor and ill-informed journalism adopted by the HDM by giving them information and allowing access to its employees.
Have you ever seen a report on either Hull FC or Rovers appear in the HDM as well written and informative as this Yorkshire Post article?

the Mason saga springs to mind, dragging it out without letting fans know what was happening, they left the HDM to find out for themselves then, when Rovers must have known more than they let on.
