| Quote: Mild Rover "Scott Wheeldon - Takes the ball off Manu at one end, when Hull could have put the game beyond us, then a couple of minutes later, makes a brilliant backhanded offload that gave Green the half-yard he needed to drag us back into contention.'"
Yes the SKY commentary team didn't notice the ball steal by Wheeldon but it was a real big play.
Also in the first half looked for sure Houghton was going over and was stopped just short by (I think) Welham.

| It was an understandable decision , but with the way Rovers were under the cosh at the time it may have been a better option to go for the try when awarded the penalty.
Hull had all the momentum up to then , but well and truly lost it after that.

1140_1361875489.jpg Leeds Rhinos? 8 for you, Leeds Rhinos! You go, Leeds Rhinos.
And none for Castleford Tigers. Bye!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1140.jpg |

| As a Leeds fan, I was very impressed by your win. From the first moments of the game, I thought your team had a much better game plan, and even when FC got a couple of tries, you didn't panic. Good stuff all round.

'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
Yves Le Prieur, the real inventor of the aqualung: |

| Quote: Dave K. "You are correct , especially about the interchanges but I think we all know that Morgan is a better coach than Agar.
As I said on a thread on the Hull board, Rovers look a good side and if there can have some luck with injuries they should challenge for the top 4, you have the best 7 in the league and one of the best second row partnerships in SL.
Hull need to improve their goal line defence and discipline we looked better with ball in hand than last year and caused you some problems, i aren't too disheartened with the performance and we should still make the playoffs this year, our two new signings should give us greater balance and more depth.
Frighting (or exciting to you) to think of your backrow if Mason comes.'"
I would say the best.
I am not saying that as individuals Newton and Galea are the best two second rowers, but as a pair they take some bettering IMO

I think the key to it was not panicking when we went 14-0 down. That must have come down to the continuity in the side and the trust they have in each other. Wouldnt want to go that far behind against any of our top 4 rivals though!

At 14-0, we had hardly had the ball in hand which means you cannot score, once we had control of the ball it was clear it would be one way traffic.
I see Robbie (Hunter) Paul !!!! has tipped Rovers to be the side that could upset the applecart at the end of the season.

I know we didnt have the ball. Doesnt change the fact that in the past we may have come away from the game plan and started to force the issue too early in the game.
On sunday we didnt do that, didnt panic and were disciplined in the way we went about our comeback.
As you say it was clear it would be one way traffic when we actually got some ball.

| Quote: EL CAMO "Mark O'Meley going off for them was massive.
Other than that I have to agree with the two Wheeldon incidents and Scotty's scuffle with Voldemort, seemed to get a grip after that.'"
Its interesting that alot of people are saying O'Meley had a really good game. Yet, having looked at the stats, Mick Vella made more metres per carry, clean breaks and the same amount of tackles. He hasn't really had a mention.

| Subs for me. Thought Wheeldon was fantastic, obviously has the spectre of Mason, Lovegrove and Netherton to come in and for me laid down a marker.
