Really?
To average 14,000 you need 14,000 every game? Ok, perhaps I need to send my Maths degree back.

| Quote Kingston Rovers="Kingston Rovers"Regardless of what stand and facilities any club has I go to support my team, dosnt matter about a crap view in an uncovered stand! Obviously 'in any kind of weather' dosnt apply to some of your lot! Good on them the loyal FC fans that did turn up by the way.
Price dosnt come into it either because when i'm paying £20 or less I don't care if I sit or stand wherever that may be.
The south stand will be sorted in time but at the moment its not a priority, the east stand being extended is as we know we have a chance of filling it and increase revenue. No point building a stand that is only going to be filled once a season if you decide to turn up.
Yes you could fill our ground no problem so why don't you try filling the south stand for a start and support your team!'"
But why pay for a ticket when you cannot watch the game with that terrible view? The majority of your own fans agree the south is terrible, so why should we bite the bullet and fill your coffers when we get just as good a view from the radio
I agree the South is and should be low on your list of priorities when the North does an ample job for the majority of visiting sides.

Still doesn't validate the statement.
English is overrated anyway, and clearly not a pre-requisite round here!

Second thoughts, best send the maths degree back to Kellogs University.

| Quote Basil Fawlty="Basil Fawlty"A Black and White mate of mine tells me that FC will average over 17000 for home games.
Has anyone else heard this and do you think it's realistic?

I've not heard it but I think it is achievable. If we were successful and found a way to reduce the entrance fee by a few quid I think we could achieve 17k. 18k Hull fans turn up for every derby at the KC so it's not a pipe dream to expect most of them to come back every week

So why do I pay for a ticket at wakey, bradford or leeds in the torrential rain? Loyalty! And I never said the south stand is any good either, I know its a crap view because I stood in it when the derbies were not segregated in the 90's. Think the score was 11-1 to rovers but i could see the scoreboard and thats all that mattered!
You could take a radio with you and listen to it so you know whats going on while looking through your binoculars
Some end stands don't have a great view anyway with the opposite end try line difficult to see.
So you begrudge filling our coffers? Its not about filling our coffers its about supporting your team.
And as someone has already said the north stand wasnt full and the weather wasnt a factor that day.

no, the funding wasnt there, all plans but no funds.
14,000 would be nice, not sure it will happen though.

| Many on this thread have missed the point IMO. The question of them reaching the target is not the point but the ambition shown is what we need in super league. Awesome stuff.
Our chairman wants a 20,000 average attendance long term.
Personally I think with better facilities and more success Hull KR will be easily above 10,000 especially for big games.
