Not sure about that, we are always active with our team and when they were uner 12s a wine shop sponsored us, we rang the RFL to check we could advertise on the back of the shirt and they said there was no problem..
I suspect it may be more to do with the club and the family values etc they want to promote, which is good imo. |

Bolton Wanderers, West Ham United, Hull City to name three professional sports teams sponsored by bookies have kids shirts with no sponsors, it was probably a compromise from when people were crying for gambling sites etc to be banned as main shirt sponsors. |
