My understanding was that Horne's agent had contacted Rovers just before Hull confirmed he was being released and that the club were not interested in signing him.

Horne would be at best a bit part squad member. If we were paying him accordingly he might be a useful cover player.

Graeme Horne. Don't see any benefit in going for King...might as well keep Mills.

Wouldn't disagree with that too much. IMO his main failings are a lack of consistency and a tendency to make daft mistakes. Useful cover and likely to be relatively inexpensive.

I agree, though in fairness he has been played in pretty much every position on the park over the past couple of years so the apparent lack of consistency and silly mistakes are kind of understandable.

Too many people on these boards write players off too easily and fail to see the bigger picture.
