You said it makes you wonder, which would suggest questioning. That's the trouble with stats, one minute people use them to back up their argument but then don't like to accept them when they show something they don't like. |

Vella stats do not indicate is is injury prone.
This season he has been unlucky but not many Props played in every single round of SL in 2008 like he did.
Not a case of not liking what somebody has said.

I never disputed Vella's stats from any season, in the same way I won't dispute Murrells. |

Surely the definition of injury prone is that the player currently picks up injuries and struggles to shake them off, not that he's been injury free in the past |

Possibly, but then you would need to define how long a previously injury prone player must remain uninjured before no longer being classed as injury prone.  |

Fair enough. The point remains that Morgan should definitely be looking at signing a big prop. Apart from Vella, you've got Fozzard (decreasingly effective), Wheeldon (OK but more workhorse than impact), Mills (squad player at best), Aizue (dropped), and Watts (not played this season). And Lovegrove. Ship out 2 of Watts/Aizue/Mills and get a class big prop. |

Crabtree is contracted to Hudds until the end of the 2010 season so I cant see that coming off.
Justin has stated two weeks ago that Rovers are talking to two Australian based players so that is not exactly news.
