| "After opening negotiations with St Gearge-Illawarra Dragons' Australian Test Centre Matt Cooper, Hull were believed to be on the look out for a "world class" centre.
Hall's new deal, coupled with long term contracts for fellow emerging star Tom briscoe and Great Britain centre Kirk Yeaman, places such a move in doubt.
Thanks Craig and keep up the good work agent Kath

Chev wasn't great on sunday but he certainly wasn't the worst player on the field. He scored a decent try and would have had another if his brains where in gear I'll admit that at times Chev looks lazy but Sing did naff all apart from a decent run out in 80 mins. As for Yeaman That guy was a GB international not so long back whats happened to him.

Thats rubbish about Sing. He made hardly any mistakes, worked hard and ran the ball back well. Walker scored a try from not that far out, made alot of mistakes, looked lazy and slow and was generally poor. Yeaman didnt have a bad game, he was just average like he has been all season

Infact I belive he may have done that twice

Spot on.
Whilst many Rovers fans are happy to laugh at Hull signing Hall, we all recognise he's got great potential in attack and blindingly obvious defensive weaknesses. Maybe he'll make it, maybe not, but the reality is that the overseas quota reduces each year so clubs are going to have to take more of a punt with British players rather then stuff the squad to breaking point with Aussies. Hall is a relatively cheap gamble in this respect and Hull's approach in retaining its best academy players (even if they're not world-beaters) is done with future squad structure requirements in mind and should be applauded IMO.
