[iHULL KR coach Justin Morgan insists he's in no rush to bolster his front line – despite continuing links with NRL stars.
The Robins are in the market for at least one new prop before the start of next season, following the departures of Makali Aizue and Nick Fozzard.
Brisbane's Joel Clinton, and Queensland pair Antonio Kaufusi and Manase Manuokafoa have been touted as possible targets, and all fit Morgan's criteria.
However, despite speculation building, the KR coach insists his search is still at an early stage, with no decisions made.
And he said he is prepared to wait until NRL clubs have adjusted their salary caps to see exactly who is available.
"We have about five or six irons in the fire and all but one of them are overseas players," Morgan told the Mail.
"The market is not flooded with free agent props. We will wait and find the one best suited for us.
"It's a fluid situation where things can change all the time.
"We will not be signing anyone just for the sake of it, we will bide our time.
"I don't make it a habit to speak about players who are still contracted at clubs.
"But if they were to become available then we would be interested."
The Mail understands Melbourne Storm's Ryan Tandy, who helped Rovers survive their first season in Super League, could be another possible target.
Tandy joined the Robins in May 2007 and played 12 games as the club fought for survival.
Last Sunday, Tandy helped the Storm win their second Grand Final in three years but his future is still undecided.[/i
