Took Wheeldon who wasnt getting a crack at Hull and is now a regular in a side 3rd in the table.
Nice to know your so interested in his squad though, isnt there much going on across the river at the moment

Point being, he only got 10-15 mins here and there at Hull, for some reason.. He's getting more minutes now he's at rovers, and looking better for it.

As backed up by his interview in the HDM a couple of weeks ago.
Wants to be a starting Prop and never got the chance at Hull.

it looked like we wanted to make him into a impact prop from the bench, i myself was a little harsh on him begining to mid season last year saying he wasn't worth a new deal but that was forgetting he was our youngest prop we shouldn't have expected him to be the one leading the way with the likes of carvell, thackray, king, cusack and dowes playing along side him.

hull fans laugh at the reported 50k a year but i think hes worth it, not saying hes getting it, considering we kept king and thackray (on surely bigger deals) and signed maloney.

Think thats the problem with a lot of your lot, big up a young player far too quickly then knock them down hard when they have their enivitable dip in form. For a young player this can be hard to come back from.

anyway back to our potential signings, I personally wouldn't be too disappointed if its not a 'marquee' signing , lets face it most of these end up being hyped up so much they can only ever be a let down. I'd much rather have a good player who is a 'right fit' into our team then sign a Lockyer type and have to reshuffle our team around him.

As was said we need a hooker, and as far as I'm concerned Scotty Murrell is not a Hooker and is far to good at Loose to warrant a move, so I would hope for a decent hooker to come in and fill the role.

dont know how you can say that to be fair....... pretty sure there were a hell of alot of KR not happy with Lovegrove and saying he shouldnt be kept... now look at him.

I agree there were a few on Lovegroves back but I don;t believe Lovegrove was ever hyped up as high or dropped as low to the extent of a Tommy Lee.

To be fair there were a fair few people on Morgans back last year so I'll give you we have some fans as bad as each other. Maybe we've been shielded from it by perfoming well.

Could be worse..... could be as fickle as the City fans - having ago for not spending billions! second season in the prem and it sounds like there expecting champions league football!....least all were expecting is a grand final....
