Absolutely the reason I got one, I wouldn't bother with the phone, they hardly ever answer, Internet is the way too go.

Thats what I thought and the leaflet / pdf file is very ambiguous to say the least, I asked in the shop originally and they said you needed to buy them that week.
I've just rung the shop again and they said the discount has no end period, just that the passes may sell out so not guaranteed your seat / stand of choice. so now not sure if it has an august, sept or no end date.... |

I might be wrong but iirc that was when Club Rip O, ahem, Club Rovers was open to existing season pass holders only (which is how the club will fend off criticism of Johnny Come Lately's getting existing pass holders seats), after that, anyone could join.

This isn't correct by my understanding.
Passes will be available in three phases.
Phase 1; Existing pass holders who are also Club Rovers members can buy from August 17th. East @£179.
Phase 2. New Season pass holders who are also Club Rovers members can buy from 24th August. East @£179.
Phase 3. Everybody else from 31st August. East @£221. |

That is definately something that needs addressing, every time i ring, i cant get an answer, i was ringing for 5 1/2 minutes yesterday before giving up.
i know they are busy sometimes but this kind of poor telephone service has been going on for months and needs sorting out, it real gets peoples backs up

| 2009 season pass holders will have priority purchase on Club Rovers Membership until 31 July 2009. Membership goes on general sale from
1 August 2009.
Full membership
• Season pass frozen at 2008 discount prices for 2010 and 2011*
• Away Derby ticket at 50% discount for 2010 game (limited to first 2500 full members)
• Free season review 2009 book (rrp £10.99) for the next 500 new members (2501 – 3000)
So you will still get your discount, otherwise for non pass holders it would be pointless
The only problem is this
If you join the exciting new membership before 31st July 2009 the club will freeze season pass prices at 2008 prices. The season pass does not have to be paid for yet, but it can only be secured at 2008 season’s price by joining Club Rovers.
A bit ambiguos so i should check first.....if you can get someone to answer the phone  |
