I think you're likely talking at slightly cross purposes, based on different definitions of 'assist'. I think the 83% was based on 'involved', which could just mean that the ball passed through a player's hands on the scoring tackle of the set. A more usual definition of assist would be the final pass or kick to set up a score. |

Why do the Hull FC fans still an obsession with Paul Cooke, a couple of weeks ago he was in Saltshouse Tavern with his girlfriend, and Neil Hudgell and his wife, me and my hubby were speaking to Paul , and in fairness he says he enjoyed his time at Hull FC.
But he always wanted to play for Rovers, a nice lad to speak to, and his girlfriend is a pretty girl.

From that I assume you're taking "assist" to mean touched the ball at some point in the set a try was scored then, not the normal definition of assist that Mild Rover pointed out.
As for bitter, not in the least. He's not worth wasting that much energy or time on.

Which as already shown is only marginally better than Horne's and a million miles away from 83%. Where are these stats? And if based on touching the ball in a scoring set, what are Richard Swain's stats over the same period? I'd say "Put up or shut up" but that would just be deliberately and unnecessarily inflammatory. |
