Well done but we'll console ourselves with having our 95th successive five figure regular season attendance.

| Quote: DuaneDibbley "You may want to refer to Neil Hundgells article about some of the councils c*ck ups when building the stand. The wrong colour cladding was just one of many points the club were not happy with. You would think something like the number of toilets needed for 2600 fans at half time would be an excel spreadsheet job nowadays. Plenty of stadia built over the last decade to know what is needed for a half time rush.
Maybe Phil Webster could shed some light'"
Which brings us back to the oft asked but never answered question, why did Hudge approve the plans on Rovers' behalf in the first place? His subsequent spat with the people who enabled the stand to come to fruition in the first place seems bizarrely unjustified at best.
I can sort of understand the cladding issue, as it appears the wrong colour was ordered, but 2 bogs? That would be clearly on the plans and should've been picked up by anyone with an ounce of common sense. Why did Hudge sign it off?

Try telling that to Little General Zodling...

What makes you think he did sign it off or that he knew about any changes?
The build looks different to the plans at the start of the project.
Maybe Phil Webster could come on and clear a few things up.

| Other than teasing someone you know personally, I don't see the big deal about Rovers giving away some freebies!
All clubs do it every season. I've obtained free tickets from both Leeds and FC in the past, the only difference is it doesn't become published in the media as much, which is probably down to the fact the other teams aren't trying to break any form of attendance record.

You're saying that Hudgell did not see or approve the plans for a major construction at his own rugby ground? Seriously?

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

How did I know that would get you out from under your rock?

How do you know his concerns were not overruled?
Something must have happened for him to want to distance himself from what was going on. Rovers were probably not able to veto some of the decisions. They were not the main stakeholder on the project.

I still reckon the Salford 10,000 exactly looked a bit iffy last season. Maybe they are scared to report below that figure.

Would you take out a £1.9M loan for home improvements on your own property and not be party to the plans? Stop being silly, Duane.

I think your hatred for anything Neil Hudgell is getting the better of you. Rovers were not the main stakeholders on the project. So I reckon that things were happening behond their control. And we all know how well council run projects progress. They brought in a company with no experience of building a sports stand.
