I made it quite clear earlier that it has always been 29th July, be interested to see a link to an earlier date.

He's on the project management board. If he says that the North stand will be open for paying customers then I'm inclined to believe him. What won't be open is the hospitality stuff.

Thats spot on, Now for the last time.
I was informed by the contractors on Wednesday 23rd January that we could push for the hospitality by the target date, but they were worried about quality and appliance safety without it being tested, the stand will be open for the last two games, and the new hospitality will be ready for the world cup, the club are happy with this.

Neil Hudgell said hopefully it could be accelerated "with the goodwill of the council onside" to be open in the second half of the season. Halfway point of the season is mid May. All a bit vague.

Quite right, he said it could be, with the goodwill of the council, the goodwill Neil spoke of was an option to spend some of the contingency monies to pay for weekend work, as I said 29th.

Ah that's our Neil, great at running Rugby clubs, and building up sucessful law firms, but one of his biggest failings is, he's a crap bricklayer.

In a capital expenditure constrained environment, probably wise not to commit the contingency on unnecessary acceleration.
You've not answered my question yet, cockle, you must have missed it, so can you clarify the funding aspects as keenly as you have done the programme timeline?
You said, I think, that the project would not cost the Hull taxpayer a penny. Bits of information we've had since include the following. The estimated cost of the whole thing was estimated at £6m at ERDF application time. £4m of it was eligible for funding (against which a grant of £2m was provided), leaving a balance of £2m on the training centre bit and £2m on the stand itself. I know the costs have gone up since, but is it the case that Rovers will repay the £2m on the stand part (or whatever the latest estimate for this part is) and the other tenants will repay the balance?

Pretty sure the non ERDF bit was funded through a loan the council raised at nil or next to nil interest through some special scheme, and that rovers would repay this at something like 50 grand a year for the next 40/50 years but the council would be liable if rovers default. I know they were looking at a private partner to run the business centre but unsure if this progressed
