Maybe, but Clints original intention was to go to Hull FC, he heard Hull and assumed it was FC because he'd not heard of another team from the city.

was it before he signed for hull, when your quota was full?

or when crossman left and he'd already signed for hull?

All I know is that Clint told a friend that Crocker wanted to join him at Rovers but that was early last year before the new quota dispensation.

Also that Clint has told him good things about the city and referred him to join FC etc.

Would have loved to see Crocker at Rovers but as things stood before the quota rules where altered mid season, it looked like our only space would be the replacement of James Webster.

Rovers are strong in the backrow anyway but then so are FC, which is why I was surprised you signed him instead of a prop of the same status (i.e. test player)...

i think the plan was, and still is, to get both but circumstances have let a few get away from us.

i'll be really interested to see how crocker and newton get on in hull. as we know there great mates but it will only take one of them to be seen in the wrong place for the knifes to be out. only have to look at jason smith when he sat with the fans at huddersfield.
