| Thornley and Allgood are a miss, Horne and Carlson, not so much so.
Are they injured? Because if they're not, it's a poor decision by Webster for IMO.

If it turns out that these players have just been rested for the middle 8's then we're basically writing off this game. That's just the sort of defeatist attitude that seems to have come from Webster over the past few weeks. A bit like when Chester said the Wakefield home game wasn't a must win earlier in the season. Look how that turned out. Webbo seems to be constantly playing down expectations and IMO this spreads to the playing group. I fear that, if the worst happens and we get relegated, then he'll end up as permanent head coach.

| I have on good authority that they are injured. Plus some of the named others are still 50/50. The general comment was 'Busted Again'.

I have been impressed with Boudebza in the limited time I have seen him.
Now this could be because he looks alot like Paul Aiton who was one of my favourite players whilst at Leeds
You guys see him every week is he not as good as I thought?

| Little John last season surprised a lot of people because nobody heard of him but this season has fallen down pecking order and not playing brilliant but we could say that about the rest of our team

| French Johnny is a good little player. (fellow Hull KR fans should note the deliberate attempt to wind up Goose here). This really is a season to forget for le Pocket Rockette, however.
Personally I like the tempo John Boudebza brings to the team when he comes on to spell Lunt. A bit like Dwyer for Clarke at the Wire, but without the same goal line threat from dummy half.
The problem for him this season is that his development has been hampered by the illogical 4 match ban for that tackle on Shenton. That gave the promising George Lawler the chance to move to hooker in his absence, where he emerged as a player of genuine class and potential and more than proved his worth. Add to that the return of Lunt to the starting line up, some hesitant form on his return and more limited opportunities in a struggling side and his stock and worth to us has plummeted. His form has been OK, much better than fellow garlic gobbler Larroyer, who has been beyond e since his return to the side imo and looks a shadow of the player of 2 seasons ago.
I can see Johnny B as a Black and White next year. Larroyer should be consigned to our history too.

Since we employed Eugene from The Preacher as our coach he hasn't been given a chance. A few injuries a joke of a suspension haven't helped. But basically Eugene hasn't given him a chance. Even when picked on the bench he barely gets 5 minutes. Good defender (remarkable given his size), has lots of ability. We'd be mad to get rid of him and keep Clarkson, Horne, Donaldson, Green, Tilse,Allgood, Mulhern.....Oh wait..
Lawler is a back row, not a hooker.

I hope you mean Widnes and not Hull for two reasons.
He isn't good enough for us and what would the point in signing for us when he would only play reserves or sit in the stands.
Reckon he could end up in the championship with Toulouse now they can have a SL salary cap.

Ouch! I smell the premature heady aroma of intoxicated Top 4 success for the next decade in your post, Dave.
So the bulk your reserves aren't good enough to play for you using that analogy. I'm sure you signed Stuart Howarth last year if memory serves.
Danny Houghton needs a competent speciality #9 back up, which Washbrook sadly isn't. He's a better hooker than the young kid Litten languishing patiently in your reserves too.

Duly noted.
Boudebza has been chronically under played this season, why we have done this, I have no idea.
His tackling from marker and his overall technique is excellent, however, it reminds me a little of how we played Ben "Nemo" Fisher in his latter days at the club.
Leg tackling hookers, or anyone who defends around the play the ball are just not fashionable.
Super Kev to rip it up in the Rubbish Eight's, despite what our resident Tory says.

That hurts, Goose. You are an Avian diablo.
Unwilling though to shell out 25 squids to vote to maintain Jeremy and his trotskyite, deluded, didactic, 70s throwback, Socialist ideology at the vanguard of political opposition. File under USELESS WET LETTUCE TO$$ER

| Aye, we could go all night on that Squire.
Seemed a bad idea at the time (good back Bencher's are always needed) turned out to be just that.

Our reserves are made up of young local lads got the future, they all won't be on too much money, now seeing that He has just turned now a contract with you, I don't think he is a value for money signing.
Howarth was an awful signing and I hope we have learnt from that.
Why do we need a back up hooker, when would be play, what would the point in paying 30/40k for a hooker to sit in the stands.
Ricdiclous to compare a 18 year old kid to a established hooker, it's like saying you should sign Carlos T to replace Liam Harris as he is a better player.
I quite like being on the top 4, signing John B isn't really going to help us stay there. Decent player but not a top 4 player.
If that isn't enough his dive and cheating against us in the CP Derby is another reason I wouldn't want him.
